Made on the coast of Oregon by people specializing in all things hair and fashion, we know what we are doing. The process for each wig takes 10 days to complete, with about 8 hours on the clock each day, your preordered wig can be on your head within 14 days nationally, and a month internationally. We do not play around on the Pacific (for that matter, the Atlantic too).
The process goes as follows:
- Take donated hair and let it soak in a tub of disinfectant wash
- normally up to 20 pounds of hair at once put in a 10 gallon filled bucket
- Condition follicles
- use coconut cream and goats milk
- condition with occasional massages for 10 minutes
- Air dry follicles
- 24 hours approximately
- Personalize wig
- Measure out thickness of the wig type desired, cut and dye to match the preferred style
- 1 day process
- Weave strands into baldcap
- beeswax based bald cap (sold from sustainablebees.com)
- 7 days for weaving process to be finished
- Package the magnificent mane into our shipping boxes
