Call Me By Your Name

Directed by Luca Guadagnino

Call Me By Your Name is a screenplay featuring Timothée Chalamet, known for his heartbreaking performance in Beautiful Boy, as well as his work in Dune starring beside Zendaya. Along with the age old Armie Hammer, known for his guest roles in Gossip Girl and others, this film exudes emotion and empowerment, or even the lack thereof.
Directed by Luca Guadagnino, this movie takes place in 1983, in a small town of Northern Italy: Crema. Elio, played by Chalamet, is a 17 year old boy enjoying his summer whilst his family hosts a research assistant, Oliver: 24 years old, for his fathers help. Elio and Oliver live lives intertwined for 6 weeks. There are peaches, there is lost time, there is the reality of society. There is intimacy, and there is the inevitable.

It is their love story.
